Multi Skilled Operative
For the last 30 years, GB has gained a reputation for successfully delivering minor and major building projects. Typically, these works include;
- Responsive repairs, empty property maintenance and Upgrade works to domestic properties.
- Individual refurbishment and development projects to public, private and community buildings.
- Home improvements including disabled adaptations.
- Facility management services.
We seek experienced individuals who can evidence a desire for continuous personal development in all aspects of their work, while embracing the company's appetite for commercial growth.
Based from St Athan we can now offer the opportunity for additional Multi Skilled Operatives to join our team undertaking repairs to domestic properties.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience of undertaking plumbing and/or carpentry tasks and other associated works e.g. tiling, painting, etc.
- Proven experience of installing kitchens and bathrooms.
- Proven experience of undertaking various tasks such as roofing, fencing, plastering, guttering works.
- The minimal level of qualifications and education to support all works reasonably expected to be completed by the post holder (Job description available on request).
- Excellent Communication skills
- Ability to use own Initiative
- Enthusiastic and positive outlook
Driving licence required.
CSCS card not necessary.
Package:
- Company van, fuel card, power tools, trade purchasing cards, mobile phone and uniform are all provided.
- 42.5 hours a week, with regular opportunity to work additional paid hours.
- Salary: £35,000 per annum
- 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays.
