Job Title: Sales & Reservation Executive
Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-oriented Sales & Reservation Executive to join our hotel team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing hotel reservations, handling guest enquiries, driving room sales, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience from enquiry through to check-in. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, strong sales abilities, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Reservations
- Handle room reservations received via phone, email, website, and online travel agencies (OTAs).
- Process bookings accurately and update reservation details in the Property Management System (PMS).
- Respond promptly to guest enquiries regarding room availability, rates, and hotel services.
- Modify, cancel, and manage reservations as required.
- Ensure reservation records are accurate and up to date.
Sales
- Promote hotel rooms, packages, and additional services to maximize revenue.
- Upsell room categories and hotel facilities whenever possible.
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and repeat guests.
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound sales calls and follow-ups.
- Support the Sales Manager in achieving monthly revenue and occupancy targets.
- Monitor competitor pricing and market trends.
Guest Service
- Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after the reservation process.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues professionally.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure smooth guest arrivals.
Administration & Reporting
- Prepare daily reservation and sales reports.
- Maintain accurate guest records and sales databases.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and reservation procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Hotel Reservations, Front Office, Sales, or Hospitality is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel reservation/PMS systems (Opera, Cloudbeds, IDS, or similar) is an advantage.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge of revenue management principles is an added advantage.
- Multilingual candidates will be preferred.
