Finance Assistant
South Bucks Tree Surgeons Limited are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to support the financial management of our business. The Finance Assistant will help to manage supplier payments, purchase orders, customer invoices, employee payroll, liaise with our external accountants and other finance tasks. There will also be special projects like, investigating investment options, employee financial benefits, fuel cards etc.
This is an opportunity to wrap your arms around and gain experience of every aspect of finance management.
Contract Type: Full Time
Salary Range: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum (Full Time)
Benefits: Bonus, 20 days holiday (increasing with service), Pension, Training, Christmas Shut Down, Team Events.

South Bucks Tree Surgeons Limited have recently moved into a new bespoke site where the offices are fresh and modern with plenty of free parking.

The Finance Assistant will work very collaboratively with all team members but especially alongside the Operations Manager & Directors.
The Ideal skills required:
The Finance Assistant position is a busy role and needs someone who is very organised.
· Strong mathematically (essential)
· Strong with excel spreadsheets (essential)
· Experienced with finance systems for example - Xero and Payroll.
· Prepare and analyse financial reports to support decision-making processes
· Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
Attributes required:
· The Finance Assistant will need to work with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Deliver high standards of work and have a strong work ethic.
· Be able to work well in a team environment with excellent listening skills
· Strong communication & commercial skills
· Good organisational skills and record/note keeping
· Have a positive and energetic approach to work.
Although very finance orientated, South Bucks Tree Surgeons Limited are a family run business so there are opportunities for the Finance Administrator to get involved with broader admin & commercial tasks.
Hours:
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm (1 hour for lunch)
