Job Overview
CIS or subcontract labour required for Fire alarm 1st and 2nd fix. Ongoing school projects.
Must be experienced in fire alarm installation, would suit electrician and mates.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret detailed schematics, blueprints, and system design documents to plan installation layouts.
- Install fire alarm systems utilizing hand tools, power tools, and construction techniques across various building types.
- Connect wiring and electrical components following electrical codes and safety standards.
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate installation schedules and ensure seamless integration into building infrastructure.
Requirements
- Proven experience with electrical work, construction projects, or mechanical systems related to fire alarm installations.
- Strong mechanical knowledge coupled with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, safety protocols, and industry standards relevant to fire alarm systems.
- Ability to interpret technical schematics and system diagrams accurately.
- Prior experience working on fire alarm or security system installations is highly desirable.
