Job Summary
Crown Farms (part of Cranswick Plc) is recruiting for a hardworking and committed Farm Assistant to work on a broiler farm near Beccles.
Hours/Days: 45 Hours over 6 days a week
Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
· Collecting Eggs
· Ensuring bird welfare is up to highest standards
· Recording of on farm data
· Maintaining safe working practices & a high level of site and personal biosecurity
standards.
· Effectively communicating with the Farm Manager and Area Manager and all other
staff.
· Facilitating the smooth running of the farm
Requirements, Experience and Person Specification:
- Experience of working on poultry units is beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to carry out manual duties.
- Valid UK driving license and access to a car
- To be a team-player, flexible and self-driven
Salary: £29,741 gross per annum, increasing after successful probation completion.
