Our successful candidates will provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well-being. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives while developing your skills within the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients with mobility and daily activities, promoting independence where possible.
- Follow personalised care plans to meet each client's specific needs.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to senior staff.
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times.
- Utilise IT systems to update care records and document relevant information.
- Drive between different care settings or client homes as required (driving licence preferred).
- Promote a positive, respectful, and supportive atmosphere for clients.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care home or home care environment is desirable but not essential.
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when needed.
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
- Driving licence is advantageous for roles involving travel between locations.
- Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately and professionally.
