Work base: Old School Lane Integrated Centre, Llandudno / Hybrid
Conwy Family Information Service is a bilingual service providing information to families and professionals on Childcare and services and activities for children and young people. We are looking for a Family Information Services Support Officer to advise and promote our work and to provide information directly to customers.
The post is currently based at the Old School Lane Integrated Centre in Llandudno / Hybrid and is initially for 16 hours a week on a fixed term annual contract.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic person with excellent ‘personal’ skills. You will need to have experience of providing information to customers and existing knowledge of local services for children and young people and experience of the childcare field would also be an advantage.
The post will involve outreach work in the community; it is essential that you enjoy working with people both formally and informally. A full driving licence and the use of a car is essential.
You will need good IT skills as the post involves gathering and updating information on various databases including DEWIS and our service website. Utilising social media platforms to share information with wider communities.
Due to the nature of the work the post is subject to a satisfactory check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
