We are seeking a very reliable and hardworking Class 1 driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be on our trunk run up to our Portree depot on the Isle of Skye. A very reliable driver is needed for this role as the start time every day is 3:00am. This role is based on 55 hours per week. This role is also very much for someone who enjoys working as a team, as you will be working with colleagues from Inverness and Portree. Excellent communication skills is a must. The role includes briefly the following -
* Starting at 3:00am every day Monday to Friday driving a class 1 lorry from Inverness to Portree.
* Helping the Portree team to unload the trailer, this will either be using a forklift or some days handballing boxes etc.
* Some days you will have deliveries or collections to do.
* Be in good communication with the office staff and other colleagues.
The successful candidate will also be given the opportunity to be put through an aviation course, which after you complete the course you will be able to be placed on a Rota for Saturdays which is paid at £150 and is Inverness based.
ADR CERTIFICATION - preferred but not essential.
Pay: £800.00 per week
