Shift manager on a plastic sorting plant.
This role will be full time and suit someone who has worked previously in an industrial factory or alike.
We have a recently installed plastic sorting plant that takes mixed plastics in bail form, we separate into different grades and in turn ship out.
We are looking for supervisors, who are motivated, forward thinking individuals with a professional manner and a positive attitude to join our team.
Title: Shift Supervisor
Salary/Rate: £40,000 (will rise depending on experience)
Hours: Full Time, Shift system days/nights
Duties to include:
* To oversee the running of the plant
* To organise works for staff on a shift to basis.
* To work closely with the head supervisor to ensure smooth and efficient running of site operations.
* To communicate effectively with team members who are reporting to you.
* To use equipment to the assist the sorting processes as required.
* To work closely with other team members/to ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Quality and Environment Policies, procedures and regulations.
* To participate in local site inductions, Toolbox Talks and any other site communications required by the business as required.
Experience:
* Experience of supervising in a factory environment.
* Flexible approach to working hours and willing to work regular overtime.
* Hardworking, enthusiastic and keen to work within a small but expanding team in a challenging but rewarding environment.
* Open minded.
Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
