Overview
We are seeking a Self-Employed Part-Time Dental Associate to join our mixed dental practice. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments, including visual inspections and patient history reviews
- Perform restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, and bridges with precision and care
- Utilise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for designing dental restorations where applicable
- Interpret medical imaging, including X-rays and scans, to diagnose dental conditions accurately
- Apply anatomical knowledge to ensure safe and effective treatment planning and execution
- Educate patients on oral health maintenance, treatment options, and post-treatment care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care delivery and practice efficiency
Qualifications
- Fully qualified Dental Surgeon registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) or equivalent regulatory body
- Proven experience in general dentistry, with a strong understanding of anatomy and medical imaging techniques
- Competence in using CAD software for restorative procedures is desirable but not essential; training can be provided
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly to patients
- Demonstrated commitment to high standards of patient care and professionalism
- Ability to work independently as a self-employed practitioner within a team environment
- Knowledge of current dental practices, infection control protocols, and health & safety regulations
