We're In The Market For a Midweight Graphic Designer
- Full time, 37.5 hours per week
- Salary: £28,500 - £34,000 DOE
- Hybrid working (equiv. of two days per week in our Gosforth office)
We're growing our design and development team and are looking for a Midweight Graphic Designer to join us. We'd like to speak with designers who have a solid grounding in brand and print work, but who are just as comfortable designing for the web.

Wriggle Marketing is a digital marketing agency with a focus on generating real ROI - and that's not just a tagline. We work with clients in engineering and manufacturing, across a broad range of industries, on everything from web builds and branding to routine SEO and PPC strategies.
This role sits within our design and development department and covers a real mix of work, from brand and marketing collateral through to web design, so it's a great opportunity for designers who want variety and want to develop their web design skills alongside their existing strengths.
You'll work closely with head of client services, our Lead Designer, and the wider development team on projects across our full client base.
You'll work across a wide range of graphic design and web design tasks, from branding projects and logo creation to designing mockups for proposals and full websites, as well as supporting with the creation of Wriggle's own branded assets.
Key responsibilities
- Design marketing communications across print and digital, including email campaigns, social media assets, brand development and more
- Create website wireframes and mockups in Figma, working closely with our development team to bring designs to life
- Work with Georgia and the wider team to develop creative brand strategies and campaign solutions for clients
- Proactively recommend creative solutions as part of marketing proposals and pitches
- Attend design meetings to discuss feedback and implement changes to designs
- Manage multiple design projects at once, keeping quality high and deadlines on track
Skills and experience required
- A few years' design experience, ideally within an agency setting
- Strong working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Experience designing in Figma, including website wireframes and mockups
- A good understanding of UX principles and how design translates from concept to a working website
- A design qualification or equivalent experience
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- We operate a hybrid working model, which requires you to be in our Gosforth office a minimum of two days per week
