Production Operative/Factory Cleaner – Food Production
We are looking for a Production Operative to join our factory team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a practical, hands-on role involving a variety of production duties across the factory floor. You will need to be comfortable moving between different tasks as required, working as part of a team and taking part in the full factory clean-down once production is complete.
Key Responsibilities
- Packing orders ready for delivery
- Operating machinery as required
- Moving between different tasks across the factory floor
- Carrying out general day-to-day production duties
- Taking part in the full factory clean-down after production
- Working with colleagues to help keep production running effectively
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in food production would be an advantage, but is not essential.
We are looking for someone who:
- Communicates well with colleagues
- Is willing to work as part of a team
- Is flexible and comfortable carrying out a variety of tasks
- Is prepared for a role involving a significant amount of manual handling and lifting
Hours of Work
Full-time – 40 hours per week, working a two-week rotating schedule:
Week 1
- Monday: 7am–5pm
- Tuesday: 7am–5pm
- Wednesday: Off
- Thursday: 7am–5pm
- Friday: 7am–5pm
- Saturday: 7am–11am
Week 2
- Monday–Friday: 8am–5pm
- Saturday: Off
