We areseeking a Finance Assistant to join our London office on a full-time, 4 monthfixed term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for anenthusiastic and motivated individual who is keen to develop their careerwithin a friendly and supportive insurance environment.
Thesuccessful candidate will be a quick learner with a proactive approach anda strong interest in finance. The role would particularly suit a recentgraduate in Finance or Accounting, or someone looking to build on existingFinance Assistant experience and further develop their skills within theFinance Department of a well-respected financial services organisation. Thisrole offers a valuable opportunity to gain exposure to the Treasury side offinance while learning from an experienced team.
We alsohave a hybrid working model (minimum 2 days in the office - after probation).

Overall responsibility of the Role:
To deliver timely, accurate and professional supportto external and internal stakeholders in the payment, coding and reporting ofclaims and claims expenses and to provide general support to the FinanceDepartment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the Clubs CRM and SUNaccounting systems.
- Assistwith the daily claims payment process.
- Allocate incoming deductibles and claims recoveries.
- Set upnew supplier accounts and maintain accurate records for existing suppliers.
- Prepare VAT recovery requests, follow up where required, and allocate incomingVAT recoveries.
- Respond promptly to correspondence and enquiries received by the FinanceDepartment.
- Assistin the preparation and timely production of reports in accordance with agreeddeadlines, including monthly and quarterly Insurance Premium Tax returns.
- Provide cover, where required, for the completion of the bank reconciliationprocess.
Experience Required:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to buildand maintain strong professional relationships with both internal and externalstakeholders.
- MS 365with intermediate level Excel and confident in learning new systems
- Strongattention to detail combined with excellent organisational skills.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively under pressure andmeet tight deadlines.
- Astrong customer service mindset, with the ability to work both independentlyand as part of a team.
