We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful applicant will join our friendly team of 14 and play a key role within our busy workshop.
Experience mentoring junior technicians would be advantageous but is not essential.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced schematics and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components.
- Utilise hand tools/power tools, using equipment, and assembly techniques to execute repairs with precision.
- Carry out heavy lifting and equipment repair tasks safely while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in vehicle assembly, disassembly, and component replacement as needed.
- Carry out quality control checks on technicians work and road tests.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Diagnostic Technician with a strong mechanical background.
- Fully qualifie/level 3 technician.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools.
- Solid understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures and repair techniques across different makes and models.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently using diagnostic software.
- Strong communication skills combined with a customer-focused attitude to deliver outstanding service.
- An MoT licence is advantageous and driving licence essential.
