The Role
We are seeking a enthusiastic and knowledgeable planteria supervisor to lead our garden centre's planteria. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of plant care, visual merchandising and customer service while supporting and supervising the planteria team.
30hr minimum per week, Pay based on experience with room to rise.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the planteria department.
- Ensure plants are well cared for, watered and displayed to a high standard.
- Provide expert advice and assistance to customers
- Supervise, train and motivate team members
- Manage stock levels, incoming plant deliveries and seasonal displays
- Maintain a clean, safe and visually appealing environment.
- Work closely with management to drive sales and promotions
About You
- Strong knowledge of plants and horticulture
- Previous experience in a garden centre or retail supervisory role
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Organised, proactive and able to work in a fast paced environment
- Flexible to work weekends and peak seasonal periods
