Priory Farm Estate are looking for a vibrant, happy and well-presented individual to join the Shepherds Hut Cafe team.
Situated next to our Farm Shop, this smaller, more intimate café accommodates up to 50 guests and focuses on coffee, cakes, and highquality toasties.
Please note this role will require the ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering any questions about the menu or cafe policies.
- Serving beverages and food. Basic food preparations, following FSA and company guidelines. Processing payments, and providing accurate change to customers. Operating cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Keeping the cafe clean and organised, including wiping down tables, counters, and equipment, as well as sweeping and mopping floors.
- Ensuring that condiment stations and dining areas are well-stocked and tidy.
Hours of Work
- Saturday 9am - 5.30pm
- All shifts include a 30-minute unpaid break
Pay rates:
Our pay rates vary depending on age:
- Ages 16–17: £8.19 per hour
- Ages 18–20: £10.99 per hour
- Ages 21 and over: £12.84 per hour
