Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of street food dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency to meet quality standards.
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient food production and maintaining a positive team environment.
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including ingredient prep, cooking stations, and maintaining cleanliness in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Oversee food safety practices, ensuring proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to develop new menu items that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
- Serve customers directly when needed, providing friendly service and answering questions about menu offerings.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of ingredients for smooth operations.
Experience
- Proven experience in a fast-paced kitchen or street food environment.
- experience in food production, preparation, and cooking within a hospitality or restaurant setting.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Strong background in kitchen operations including food safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Previous restaurant or street food vendor experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques specific to street cuisine or international flavors is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
