PART TIME POSITION FOR QUALIFIED OR PART QUALIFIED ACCOUNTANT
We are looking for another member of staff to join our team.
This is initially offered for 3 days a week, although there is scope to increase this in the next 12 months as the firm continues to grow.
We already have 2 x trainees so unfortunately we are not looking for staff without experience at this time. Ideally the candidate would be AAT qualified.
The ideal candidate would be confident in the following areas:
⭐ Using bookkeeping software (ideally Xero)
⭐ Using outlook/word/excel
⭐Preparing/posting trial balances
⭐Preparing/posting accounting journals
⭐Preparing personal tax returns (although we can assist with this if coming from a job in industry)
⭐Good communication skills
The majority of your role would be preparing VAT returns, sole trade & partnership accounts and tax returns.
However, we can also offer work with payroll, CIS and Limited Companies should you wish to get involved with this side.

31 days holiday inc bank holidays (Full Time Equivalent)
Happy to work around school hours if necessary. Happy to accommodate 1 day working from home.
