About the Role:
We are currently seeking a professional and reliable Class 1 HGV Driver to join our transport team based in Cairnryan, supporting one of Ireland’s premier glass manufacturing companies headquartered in Lurgan, Co. Armagh. This role offers a consistent and structured schedule, primarily involving daily collections of trailers from the ferry terminal at Cairnryan and returns each day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and deliver trailer loads of glass products from Cairnryan ferry terminal, connecting to our operations in Armagh.
- Ensure timely, safe, and secure handling of all goods.
- Perform vehicle safety checks and report any faults or issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation in line with company and legal requirements.
- Liaise with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
- Represent the company professionally when dealing with ferry personnel and other stakeholders.

Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence.
- Full Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Proven experience in long-haul or ferry-related haulage preferred but not essential.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and follow transport schedules efficiently.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience with cross-channel or ferry-based haulage operations.
- Familiarity with transporting fragile or high-value loads (e.g., glass or similar materials).
