Contract Labour Solutions have a fantastic opportunity for a Recycling Day Shift Supervisor to work with our client who is an established recycling company who is based in the Doncaster area.

Pay: Starting @ £18.50ph
Shifts: 6am till 6pm rolling 4on 4 off shifts (+handover)
Role: This is a hands-on supervisory position, overseeing day-to-day recycling and yard operations while maintaining high standards of health & safety, productivity and housekeeping.
- Supervise and motivate the operational team.
- Allocate daily work and monitor productivity.
- Oversee sorting, processing, baling, loading and yard operations.
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and housekeeping.
- Monitor plant and equipment and report any issues.
- Manage shift handovers and communicate with management.
- Support team training and performance.
- Ensure quality and operational targets are achieved.
Requirements: The successful candidate will be able to show.
- Previous supervisory/team leader experience within recycling, waste, manufacturing or a similar industrial environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Good understanding of health & safety.
- Practical, hands-on approach.
- Confident managing a busy operational team.
- Scrap metal/recycling experience would be advantageous.
