Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and care
- Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding safely and effectively
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand design requirements and deliver desired outcomes
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly
- Conduct quality checks throughout the project to ensure smooth application and flawless results
- Drive company vehicles to different job sites as needed, adhering to all safety regulations
Experience
- Proven experience in construction painting or decorating roles, demonstrating a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Knowledge of different painting techniques and surface preparation methods
- Ability to communicate clearly in English with team members and clients
- Valid driving license with reliable transportation for traveling between sites
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and understanding client needs
- Familiarity with safety protocols on construction sites and working at heights when necessary
