Hove Learning Federation is comprised of West Hove Infant School and Hove Junior School, serving over 1,000 children on our 3 sites – School Road, Portland Road and Holland Road. We are a vibrant, creative and inclusive school community, with outstanding Ofsted in all areas.
We are seeking an empathetic, highly motivated, resilient and team orientated Learning Support Assistant to work with us for 5 days per week from 8.45am until 3.00pm, Monday to Friday.
Paid weeks per year: 47.36 (inclusive of holiday entitlement)
Start date: 1 September 2026
About the Role
The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and the SENCO to help children engage positively with their learning and access the curriculum that respects their unique needs. Experience of working with early years children is essential and experience of working with additional needs such as autism, ADHD or other behavioural diagnoses is desirable.
The applicant must also be willing to undertake training to support the medical needs of children in school.
This is a federation post and successful candidates may be asked to work at any one of our 3 sites.
