Every young person should be defined by their talent and potential. Never their circumstances. That's the conviction social entrepreneur Iain MacRitchie founded the MCR Foundation on in 2006. It's driven nearly 20 years of independently evidenced impact through its flagship and now independent MCR Pathways mentoring programme.
Now we aim to radically scale that founding mission through KeyTu, our pioneering mentoring software platform. It's being developed to be free issued to pioneering partners to provide them with all the processes and content for trusted adult relationships to flourish and impact. All distributed and supported through our dedicated Community Interest Company, which will drive our national and international reach. The ambition is bold. We want to reach 250,000 young people across the UK. Getting there is both a social cause purpose and technology challenge. If you relish the greatest of challenges, and want to make and experience a life changing difference, read on. For this job or if it does not fit, please do join our cause as a volunteer.
As Content & Engagement Manager, you'll own our content, editorial and communications processes end to end. Through user and partner forums, you'll decide what quality information and insight Koda, our dedicated AI, needs. You'll work with strategic partners, subject matter experts and a range of creative sources and tools to produce content across formats in long form guides, short form social, video and audio. You'll also lead the marketing and communications that bring this national ambition to life for every stakeholder, across the full mix of brand, campaigns, social, email, partner toolkits and PR.
We're looking for someone experienced, young at heart, flexible and with a high impact track record of producing evidence based content in multimedia forms. Ideally in a regulated or sensitive field such as health, education or wellbeing. You'll have strong marketing, highly effective communication skills, and a talent for turning complexity into simplicity, providing inspiration for young people and everyone supporting them.
If you have those skills, and share our values of motivation, commitment and resilience, held together with empathy, compassion and humility, we want to hear from you! If not for this role, watch this space for opportunities opening up in our London team this year, and in Manchester, Bristol and Wolverhampton in 2027.
Please do send us your CV, along with 500 words on why you could make and experience a life changing difference.
Help us build content young people can trust to inspire them to realise their immense potential.
