On the 1 August 2026, the University of Greenwich and the University of Kent will form a pioneering new multi-university group called London and South- East (LASE) University Group.
Should you join us, you will be employed by LASE but will work as part of the University of Greenwich academic division, contributing to its distinct strengths, community and identity while also being part of a wider group that brings together the scale, resilience and shared ambition of both universities.
Through LASE we aim to deliver outstanding education, impactful research, and meaningful regional and global impact.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Research & Impact Officer to join our Faculty Research Support Team. This exciting role has been created to support a number of strategic priorities within Greenwich Business School, including preparations for the next Research Excellence Framework (REF), the development of an emerging Knowledge Exchange Hub and the operation of a newly established Research Lab.
Working closely with the Faculty Research Support Manager, Associate Dean (Research and Knowledge Exchange), academic colleagues and professional services teams across the University, the post-holder will coordinate a range of research and knowledge exchange activities and projects. The successful candidate will support REF readiness and evidence collection, facilitate knowledge exchange and partnership activities, coordinate Research Lab initiatives and events, support impact and engagement activities, produce reports and research intelligence, and contribute to the development of effective systems and processes that support the Faculty's research ambitions.
The role requires an organised and proactive individual with excellent communication, project coordination and stakeholder engagement skills. You will be comfortable working with a wide range of internal and external partners and have the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment. Experience of supporting research, knowledge exchange, innovation or project activity within higher education or a similarly complex organisation would be advantageous.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and success of research and knowledge exchange within Greenwich Business School and to play a key role in supporting initiatives that deliver academic, societal and economic impact.
