Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily classroom activities, ensuring they align with early childhood education standards and curriculum goals
- Provide high-quality childcare that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members, fostering a collaborative team environment
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support individual needs and developmental milestones
- Implement safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure environment for children and staff
- Plan and execute educational programs that stimulate curiosity and encourage active learning
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and other essential documentation
- Drive community engagement initiatives to strengthen relationships with families and local organizations
Experience
- Proven management experience within early childhood education or childcare settings
- Extensive experience working with children in nursery or preschool environments
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively
- Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and childcare best practices
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Valid driving license with the ability to transport children safely when required
- Prior nursery experience is highly desirable; familiarity with early childhood education frameworks is essential
