Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Dental Officer position within our Public Dental Service based Ayrshire Central Hospital, Irvine
Hours and Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday 8.30am 4.30pm (37.5hrs), including participation in an on call out of hours rota to support the Weekend Emergency Dental Service.
This post is offered on a full time permanent basis however part time or job share will be considered.
What you will do:
Job Purpose: The successful candidate will participate in a term time rota to provide clinical support / student teaching for the 5th year dental students within the dental outreach centre at North West Kilmarnock Centre. Candidate will also be expected to provide clinical care and services to wider Public Dental Service remit.

Knowledge, Training, Experience needed for job:
Experience and competence in treating a broad spectrum of Additional Needs, Special Care and Phobic patients is required, as is the ability to provide a comprehensive range of dental treatments completed to a high standard.
Additional experience in providing clinical supervision in a dental setting would be advantageous.
Applicants must be registered with the GDC.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential to this role.
