We are looking for a part time (1-2 days per week) employee at The Fungi Folks farm in South Wales (NP16). Responsibilities will include harvesting, prepping mushroom substrate, packaging orders, cleaning grow rooms and equipment, and the opportunity to learn about mushroom cultivation/ mycology techniques and get involved in lab work. The position available has the potential to develop into a full-time role as the company grows.
- No previous experience with mycology is necessary, although it would be beneficial.
- Access to transport (car/ van) is essential – rural location
- Interest in mushrooms/mycology/regenerative farming and land work is preferred
- Open to the physical nature of the job
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
