About EC Logistics.
EC Logistics is a UK-based vehicle logistics company specialising in trade plate movements, transport solutions and vehicle storage. We work with manufacturers, fleets, dealerships, and automotive partners across the UK, delivering reliable, compliant, and well-planned vehicle movements.
Our business is built on strong operational planning, clear communication, and mutual respect between our office team and drivers. We are a growing company with an ambitious but practical approach, focused on doing things properly, supporting our people, and continuously improving how we operate.
About the role:
We are looking for a Business Support Coordinator to help organise and support our busy office operations.
This role is not about doing everything yourself. It’s about keeping an overview, supporting the team, and making sure tasks are picked up, followed through, and communicated clearly.
If you’re organised, calm under pressure, and enjoy helping things run smoothly behind the scenes, this could be a great fit.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate day-to-day administrative and operational tasks across the office team.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, drivers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Monitor inboxes, systems, and workflows to ensure tasks are actioned and followed through.
- Support the planning and transport teams with quotes, job builds, and system updates.
- Maintain accurate records across platforms such as Asana and vehicle movement systems.
- Carry out quality checks and support compliance standards.
- Coordinate expense tracking, invoices, and payments with the office/finance team.
- Escalate issues where needed and help resolve problems efficiently.
- Support onboarding, training, and process improvements.
You will complete some tasks directly, but the main focus is coordination, communication, and oversight, working as part of a supportive team.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in administration, office coordination, logistics, transport or operations.
- Organised, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
- Comfortable using office systems, spreadsheets, and email (training provided).
- Enjoys supporting others and keeping things running smoothly.
Why work with us:
- Supportive team environment.
- Varied role with responsibility and real room to grow.
- Training and support provided.
- Opportunity to play a key role in a growing logistics business.
This role suits someone who is:
· A calm organiser, not a micromanager.
· Comfortable connecting the dots between people, tasks, and systems.
· Happy being the person who keeps things moving, rather than needing to be the loudest voice in the room.
· Practical, grounded, and steady under pressure.
· Confident enough to chase, check, and escalate — but not confrontational.
· Someone who quietly enjoys order emerging from chaos.
It is not ideal for someone who:
· Wants a purely hands-on, single-task role.
· Needs everything to be perfectly defined at all times.
· Dislikes coordinating or following up with others.
