Priory Hospital Suttons Manor is looking to recruit a Support Worker to join the team.
Priory Hospital Suttons Manor is set in Stapleford Tawney, a village and civil parish in the Epping Forest district, near the town of Romford. The hospital is set in its own attractive grounds of over nine acres, which supports an amazing horticulture programme and grants access to an idyllic countryside landscape, which, by its very nature, promotes wellbeing.
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a Support Worker, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
- Ensure that the people who use our service have any personal needs or requirements met; including personal care, participation in activities and support with daily living tasks. To support people who use our service in achieving their outcomes in the way that they choose.
- Complete daily administration including updating person centred support & care plans, updating charts and completing accurate daily notes.
- Maintains professional relationships whilst developing a good rapport with the people who use our service, their family, colleagues, visitors and other stakeholders.
- Through own professional behaviour, including adhering to policies and procedures, contributes to the maintenance of safety, security and confidentiality standards.

The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care or a related field, or possess an equivalent or higher recognised qualification. Additionally, they should have GCSEs or an NVQ Level 2 in English and Maths. It is acknowledged that not all new recruits will initially hold the NVQ Level 2 qualification; however, they will be expected to begin working towards it within six months of joining and complete it within a designated timeframe. While prior experience in a related environment is desirable, it is not essential.
