Domestic cleaners required to work in residential homes in Dunfermline, Fife (and other areas) carrying out general cleaning and other domestic duties. This is part-time up to a maximum of 16 hours a week, and often done while the homeowner is at work. The range of tasks done by cleaners depends on what the homeowner requires. But they can include any of the following and maybe more:

dusting and polishing furniture
- cleaning windows
- vacuuming floors
- mopping floor tiles
- ironing clothes
- washing up pots and pans
For the position, you need:
- To enjoy doing practical tasks.
- To be reliable and hard-working.
- Know-how of using household cleaning products and materials.
- The ability to work without supervision.
- To pay attention to detail.
- To work as part of a team with other cleaners, if required. Cleaners could be asked to do a one off spring clean for a special occasion. For example, washing down paintwork and walls, clean out cupboards and shampoo carpets. All cleaning products and materials are supplied by the client. Payment shall be made on the day of each clean.
Salary: £14 - £16
