Quality Checker For Luxury Holiday Homes
The Quality Checker is responsible for ensuring all luxury holiday homes meet the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, maintenance, and guest readiness. This role plays a key part in delivering an exceptional guest experience by carrying out detailed property inspections and reporting any issues promptly.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct thorough inspections of luxury holiday homes.
· Ensure properties meet company quality standards for cleanliness, presentation, and functionality.
· Verify that furniture, décor, and amenities are correctly positioned, clean, and in excellent condition.
· Identify and report maintenance issues, damage, or missing items using company reporting systems.
· Work closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams to ensure any issues are resolved before guest check-in.
· Carry out follow-up inspections after maintenance or cleaning work has been completed.
· Maintain accurate inspection records and complete quality check reports.
· Assist in maintaining the premium appearance and reputation of all managed properties.
· Ensuring that the high standard of cleaning and staging is being delivered by the team and third party cleaners.
· Training of new cleaners and refresher training for existing cleaners. Training of third party cleaners to deliver Barefoot Retreats standards.
· Spot checking properties to ensure the correct standard is being achieved.
· Carrying out inventory checks where required
· Attend department meetings and feedback information when necessary/relevant
· Report to manager any issues that require their support or intervention
· Good communication skills, ensuring positive feedback and support given to enhance the quality of cleans.
Skills and Experience
· Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, property management, or quality inspection is preferred.
· Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high standards.
· Strong organisational and time management skills.
· Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple properties within set deadlines.
· Basic knowledge of property maintenance is an advantage.
· Full driving licence – (Vehicle provided during work hours.)

Schedule
· 32 hours per week
· 8 hour shifts (9:00am to 5:30pm) between Monday to Friday, including public holidays. May include some Saturday work where required
