Job Summary
We are seeking two skilled and dedicated Truck Tyre Technicians to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and replacing tyres on a variety of commercial vehicles, ensuring safety and optimal performance. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for working in the tyre industry. The position involves hands-on work with tyres, and requires physical strength, and attention to detail with the paperwork.
Responsibilities
- Inspect tyres on lorries and commercial vehicles for damage, wear, and tear.
- Remove and replace tyres using appropriate hand and power tools.
- Perform tyre repairs, including repairing punctures as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of tyre inspections, repairs, and tyre replacements.
- Assist with general service work tasks related to tyre care and safety.
- Provide excellent customer service to our customers.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
Requirements
- Proven tyre knowledge with experience working with tyres or similar components.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and torque wrenches, and tyre levers.
- Experience with power tools used in tyre fitting and repair processes.
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients.
- Physical strength to handle heavy lifting of tyres and equipment safely.
- Attention to detail to identify tyre issues accurately during inspections.
- Previous experience in a truck tyre fitting role is required.
- A valid driving license is required due to the nature of the role.

Pay: £37,206.00-£39,006.00 per year
