About the job
An opportunity has become available for a position in our busy warehouse in Wetherby. We are looking for an enthusiastic Warehouse Operative/Multi-drop Driver to join our experience team.
You will be working part as a team in the Despatch Warehouse, reporting to the Despatch Manager. Being a warehouse operative/multi-drop driver is a dual role, and it is essential that you are able to multi-task. The role will require working in the warehouse, undertaking duties such as wrapping items for despatch, using the fork-lift truck and general housekeeping, in addition to driving a van for local collections, local deliveries and on rare occasions you may be asked to drive further afield around the UK.
· Lifting heavy items
· Delivering/collecting items to and from customers
· Weekly van checks
· Maintaining housekeeping
· Promote a safe working environment
· Loading and unloading pallets using the FLT (fork-lift truck)
Skills required
· A least 1-year experience of working in a busy warehouse environment (essential)
· Full UK driving licence (essential)
· Transferrable FLT (counterbalance) licence (desirable)
· Able to lift heavy objects
· Handling/wrapping products with care
· Attention to detail
· Excellent organisational skills
· Positive Attitude
· Being able to work within a team
· Be adaptable
· Great timekeeping
· Ability to work to targets
· Be professional at all times
