Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef to join our team. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Oversee food presentation, ensuring high-quality plating and presentation
- Manage food safety protocols, including hygiene standards and temperature controls
- Monitor kitchen operations to optimise workflow and minimise waste
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment at all times
- Assist in menu planning and development to keep offerings innovative and appealing
- Able to work alongside the head chef and independently when required
Experience
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
- Experience in restaurant operations, including serving guests when required
- Familiarity with culinary trends, menu development, and customer preferences is desirable
This role is ideal for passionate chefs who are not only able to work alongside the head chef, but also can use their own initiative and work independently when required. The successful employee will be organised, responsible and have developed culinary skills
Pay: £28,000.00 per year
