A. Brunton Waste Management is looking for an experienced Metal Recycling Operative to join our busy recycling facility in Bridlington.
This is a physical, hands-on role working with scrap metals, customers, vehicles and machinery.
The Role:
- Identify, sort and handle different grades of metal
- Operate 360 material handlers using selector and five-tine grabs
- Operate cranes to sort, load and unload metals
- Assist customers and lorry movements
- Keep the yard clean, organised and safe
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures
What We're Looking For:
- Metal recycling/industrial experience preferred
- Reliable with good attendance and timekeeping
- Physically fit with a strong work ethic
- Positive, safety-conscious team player
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Saturday mornings
Everyone works as part of the team. You'll be expected to help with other yard duties when required and be willing to work hard, get stuck in and get your hands dirty.
