Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble pizza doughs, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients with precision and care
- Cook pizzas to perfection using various methods such as wood-fired ovens or standard commercial ovens
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering strictly to food safety standards
- Assist in meal preparation for all menu items, ensuring timely service during busy hours
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking to management
- Serve customers directly when required, providing friendly and efficient service
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for everyone
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or culinary setting
- Strong knowledge of kitchen safety protocols and food safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent skills in meal preparation, including dough handling, topping application, and baking techniques
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and serving practices is a plus
