Surftech Surfaces Ltd is growing, and we are looking for a confident, driven and commercially minded Internal Sales & Business Development Executive to join our team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys talking to customers, spotting opportunities, and helping turn enquiries into real business.
You will be joining the leading specialist UK manufacturer supplying sports, recreational and infrastructure surface systems to contractors, distributors, sports clubs, schools, local authorities and commercial partners across the UK and overseas.
This is not a basic admin role, It is a sales-focused position for someone who wants to make an impact.
What you’ll be doing
You will work closely with the Sales Director and wider team to support customers, develop opportunities and help grow the business.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Following up new enquiries, website leads and marketing campaigns.
- Speaking with existing and prospective customers by phone and email.
- Generating and qualifying new business opportunities.
- Preparing and sending customer quotations.
- Supporting the sales team with follow-up activity and pipeline management.
- Building strong relationships with contractors, customers, and commercial partners.
- Keeping customer and opportunity records up to date in the CRM system.
- Helping identify repeat business, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Working with internal teams to provide accurate product, pricing, and delivery information.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for someone who is confident, organised and proactive.
You will have experience in internal sales, business development, account management, customer service or sales support. Experience in construction, coatings, sports surfaces, flooring or contractor-led sales would be useful, but it is not essential.
More importantly, you will have the right attitude.
You should be:
- Confident speaking with customers.
- Commercially aware and sales focused.
- Organised and good at managing follow-ups.
- Positive, professional and motivated.
- Comfortable working in a busy office environment.
- Able to build strong customer relationships.
- Keen to learn about specialist products and technical surface systems.
- Ambitious and ready to grow with the business.
