Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking fresh produce, with experience working in a busy restaurant environment. Duties
- Prepare and cook dishes to meet the restaurant’s quality standards, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Oversee the preparation of ingredients, ensuring freshness and proper storage.
- Manage a designated section of the kitchen, organising work flow and coordinating with other team members.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work stations in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor stock levels and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
- Ensure all food is prepared efficiently during service times, maintaining consistency and quality.
- Adhere strictly to food safety standards, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods.
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities whilst maintaining high standards of quality.
