Duties
- Perform loss prevention measures by observing suspicious behavior and intervening when necessary to prevent theft or damage.
- Manage access control by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors before granting entry.
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid when required and coordinating with emergency responders.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and surveillance footage to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Conduct routine patrols of the facility to check for security breaches, safety hazards, or unauthorized access.
- Assist in emergency preparedness drills and ensure compliance with safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven ability to operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras with precision and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and experience in monitoring for theft or suspicious activities.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert during long shifts in various environments.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and interacting professionally with staff and visitors.
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining focus on surveillance responsibilities.
- Prior experience in security or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- SIA licence required.
- Working in a corporate environment including reception work. 31.5 hours per week, 14.30 - 21.00 min - Thursday and 15.45 - 21.00 Frida.
