The Role
As a KS2 Early Career Teacher, you will receive the support and encouragement needed to develop your confidence and teaching practice.
Working alongside experienced teachers and senior leaders, you will benefit from regular observations, constructive feedback and dedicated mentoring while taking responsibility for your own Key Stage 2 class.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
- Assessing, tracking and supporting pupil progress.
- Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
- Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
- Promoting high expectations for behaviour, achievement and personal development.
- Contributing positively to the wider school community.

We are looking for teachers who:
- Are completing, or have recently completed, a PGCE or Undergraduate Primary Education degree.
- Hold (or are on track to achieve) QTS.
- Are passionate about teaching within Key Stage 2.
- Are enthusiastic, reflective and eager to develop professionally.
- Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
- Have strong classroom management skills or are committed to developing them.
- Are dedicated to helping every child achieve their full potential.
