We are looking for imaginative & creative chefs of all levels to join our enthusiastic kitchen team. At the Idle Rocks we are a team of innovative chefs working together to produced inspired food for our guests. We pride ourselves on involving all members of the team in the design of our menu’s and encourage a creative and artistic approach. As a team our vision is to deliver an experience beyond expectation to our guests, striving for the highest accolades in the process.

· Holidays: 28 days per year increasing year on year (capped at 5 years)

Job purpose for Pastry Chef
Join our team and we will work together to achieve your goals!
· Creating amazing Bread, Pastry, Deserts, Chocolate’s, Petite Fours, Ice Cream, Sorbets and other products as your imagination creates.
· Potentially managing a Commis Chef and delegating work.
· Ordering and stock taking of all produce on section.
· Ensuring that the restaurant is always fully stocked with fresh produce to excite and encourage customer spend.
· Constantly seeking new ingredients and techniques to improve customer dining experience.
· Make menu suggestions and understand costing implications.
· Actively participate in Kitchen Team meetings.
· Maintain a high level of food hygiene and standards at all time
About you
· You have to be a flair and passion for service to achieve the highest of standards.
· You have to be flexible, articulate and have a desire to progress to the next level.
· You will be hard working, reliable, trustworthy and competent enough to work alone and have the experience and people skills to work within a team.
· Be calm and focused in a high pressure, busy environment.

Pay: £34,000.00 per year
