Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to oversee daily operations within our retail establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining the overall efficiency of the store. Duties
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the store to ensure its efficient and smooth running.
- Lead and supervise store employees, allocating duties and ensuring excellent customer service.
- Monitor food preparation processes to maintain consistent quality, freshness, and portion control.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety regulations at all times.
- Monitor stock levels of food ingredients, packaging, beverages, and cleaning materials, placing orders to maintain adequate supplies.
- Carry out regular stock counts, monitor stock rotation, minimise food waste, and investigate stock discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate operational records, including food safety documentation, stock records, staff records, and daily sales reports.
Skills
- Proven management experience within retail or similar environments, with strong supervisory skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment
- Sound organisational skills with attention to detail in stock control and record-keeping
