At Nest Homecare, we’re looking for compassionate and experienced people to join our fabulous team of Care Assistants supporting privately-funded adults to live safely and happily in their own homes in and around Windsor, Maidenhead, Ascot and Bracknell.
About You
You will have cared professionally before, or looked after a loved one. Either way, what matters most to us is who you are; - warm, reliable, patient, and caring.
You’ll need:
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own car
- To live within 12 miles of Windsor.

- Full Time = Availability of 07.00-14.30 and 16.00-22.00 ( x 4 days per week).
- Part Time = Mix of availability of mornings and evenings shifts.
(Both Full and Part time include every other weekend).
The Role
As a Care Assistant, you’ll visit a small number of private clients in their own homes. We believe in unrushed, person-centred care — so our visits are a min. 1 hour :)
Every day is different. You might be:
· Assisting with personal care, including washing, bathing, showering, dressing
· Supporting with toileting needs and continence care
· Administering medication
- Supporting with mobility, including transfers and the use of hoists or walking aids. ·
- Helping with meal preparation, feeding assistance and ensuring adequate hydration.
· Supporting with physiotherapy exercises and attending appointments or activities in the community.
· Providing friendly company, a listening ear and emotional support to reduce loneliness and isolation.
· Assisting with household tasks such as laundry, tidying and shopping to support independent living.
This role requires flexibility across a wide range of clients and care needs, including individuals living with dementia who may at times display behaviour linked to their condition. Carers must be willing and able to undertake manual handling, work varied visit lengths, and travel within 15 miles of their base as reasonably allocated.
We offer full training, onboarding and ongoing support so you’ll feel confident from day one.
What we offer
· £14.00 per hour (weekdays), £15.00 per hour (weekends) rising to to £30.00 per hour (Xmas Day)
· Plus: paid travel time, 40ppm (mileage), holiday pay & realistic travel time
