Overview

Duties
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming to ensure their comfort and dignity.
- Support clients with mobility needs, including helping them move safely around their environment or using mobility aids.
- Follow individual care plans meticulously to deliver tailored care that meets each person’s specific needs and preferences.
- Administer medication as prescribed and keep accurate records of all care activities in compliance with regulations.
- Engage in meaningful communication with clients to promote social interaction and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with household chores or infection control procedures.
- Document all care provided accurately using IT systems designed for healthcare settings to ensure seamless communication within the team.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Strong IT skills for managing electronic care plans, documentation, and reporting tasks efficiently.
- Valid driving license and own transport.
- Experience working in providing home care is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately while adapting to individual client needs with compassion.
- Good physical fitness to perform tasks that require standing, walking, lifting, or assisting clients with mobility.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships and provide empathetic support in sensitive situations.
