We're looking for a compassionate, skilled and values-driven Qualified Residential Children's Support Worker to join our dedicated team at our welcoming 3-bed Ofsted-registered children's home in Chudleigh Knighton.
Our home supports children and young people aged 10–16 with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities. We pride ourselves on providing consistent, therapeutic and person-centred support, helping every child to develop confidence, independence and life skills while celebrating every milestone along the way.

About the Role
As a Qualified Residential Children's Support Worker, you will:
- Build positive, trusting and therapeutic relationships with our children and young people.
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care that promotes safety, wellbeing and independence.
- Support children with their daily routines, education, communication, emotional wellbeing and community activities.
- Help children develop life skills, confidence and resilience.
- Work collaboratively with families, professionals and colleagues to achieve positive outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning in line with Ofsted and safeguarding requirements.
- Be a positive role model and advocate for every child in your care.

Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must hold one of the following Ofsted-recognised qualifications:
- Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare
- NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce
- Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner
- Degree in Social Work
- Or another Ofsted-recognised equivalent qualification suitable for working within children's residential care.

- Experienced in supporting children with Autism, neurodiversity and learning disabilities, or committed to developing this knowledge.

- Committed to delivering outstanding care and promoting positive outcomes.
Essential Requirements
- An Ofsted-recognised residential childcare qualification (as listed above).
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or over.
- A full UK driving licence is preferred.
- A genuine commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Working Pattern
You'll work 40 hours per week, typically across five days, with shifts of:
- 7:00am – 3:00pm
- 2:00pm – 8:00pm
In addition, you'll benefit from:
- At least one full weekend off every month
- An average of one sleep-in every other week
- A rota designed to promote work-life balance while ensuring consistency for the children we support.
