Job Overview
GRH Group are seeking a dedicated and energetic Site Maintenance and Cleaner to ensure our client's facilities remain safe, clean, and well-maintained. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks, maintaining cleanliness standards, and addressing minor maintenance issues across our site. Your proactive approach will help create a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and clients alike.
Working Hours
Mon and Wed, 08:00hrs to 13:30hrs
Tue and Thu, 08:00hrs to 12:00hrs
Fri, 08:00hrs to 13:00hrs
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive cleaning of all designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Perform routine janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restocking supplies to uphold hygiene standards
- Identify maintenance needs such as minor repairs or safety hazards and report them promptly to the appropriate team or supervisor
- Ensure cleaning schedules are adhered to and areas are maintained to the highest standards throughout the day
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas around the site, including parking lots and walkways
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or contamination
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure availability at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety standards
- Ability to operate various cleaning machinery such as floor buffers, vacuums, and pressure washers safely and effectively
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Strong organizational skills to manage daily tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Good communication skills for reporting maintenance issues clearly and promptly
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving heavy objects when necessary
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment at all times
GRH Group are seeking a reliable and hardworking team member, able to work under their own initiative in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a high standard of work. This role is supported by a dedicated local manager.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
