Live-in Personal Assistant / Carer
Location: Earlsfield, London
Salary: £14.60 per hour (plus agreed flat-rate sleep-in payment)
Position: Live-in (full-time preferred, flexible arrangements considered)
About the Role
We are looking for a kind, reliable and compassionate live-in Personal Assistant/Carer to support a lovely lady living independently in her own home in Earlsfield.
The role is about enabling her to live safely, comfortably and with dignity. We are looking for someone who is patient, proactive and able to provide reassurance and gentle encouragement throughout the day.
Main Responsibilities
* Providing companionship and emotional support.
* Assisting with personal care where required.
* Prompting and administering medication as directed.
* Encouraging and monitoring food and fluid intake.
* Encouraging regular toileting.
* Preparing meals and supporting a healthy diet.
* Supporting with light household duties including cleaning, laundry and shopping.
* Accompanying to appointments and community activities.
* Supporting gentle exercise and mobility.
* Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any concerns promptly.
* Maintaining clear daily care notes and accurate records.
About the Person
We are looking for someone who is:

* A good communicator.
* Respectful of privacy and dignity.
* Happy to work as part of a wider support team and communicate with family.
Experience
Experience in mental health, learning disability or complex care would be beneficial but is not essential for the right person with the right values.
Training can be provided.

The person lives in her own home and requires support to remain independent. She benefits from consistent routines, reassurance, encouragement with eating and drinking, medication support and someone who can recognise changes in her wellbeing and respond appropriately.
