Role Purpose: The Support Worker plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support to individuals accessing services. Working directly with people who may have complex needs, the role supports wellbeing, safety, recovery and independence through compassionate, consistent and professional practice.
Working under the guidance of a Service Lead, the Support Worker delivers day-to-day support in line with individual support plans, organisational policies and agreed service models. The role contributes to a safe, inclusive and respectful service environment and works collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
The Support Worker provides frontline support to individuals in housing or accommodation services, promoting tenancy sustainment, safety and independent living. The role supports individuals to manage accommodation-related challenges. Working within housing pathways, the Support Worker contributes to stable housing outcomes and safe living environments.
