We are looking for a Automotive Mechanic to help maintain our own internal fleet of cars and vans alongside additional retail work, the majority of the work is routine servicing and prepping for MOT's, there are lots of opportunities to build on the role for the right applicant.
The successful applicant will be working at our new tyreworld depot in Prince of Wales Road at Dorchester, with plenty of specialist equipment to compliment your own tools, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the company’s fleet of commercial vans and wide variety of other company vehicles.
You will need the following:
- Diagnostic Experience
- Electrical Fault Finding
- Air Conditioning Service Experience/Qualification
Responsibilities
- Perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair vehicle systems, including air conditioning.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Salary: £14.00 - £16.00 per Hour dependent on age and experience.
