The role in one line
You'll work alongside the Head of Business Systems to keep delivery moving across our ecommerce, ERP, warehousing and AI initiatives — turning a busy, multi-strand roadmap into things that actually get shipped.
This is not a "help out where needed" job. It's a role with real ownership and a clear path toward operational and technology leadership. We're hiring for trajectory: where you can get to, not just what you've already done.
About us
We run multiple ecommerce brands across the UK and internationally, built on Magento storefronts with a headless Alokai frontend, Microsoft Business Central as our ERP, and EasyWMS across several automated warehouse sites. We work with UK teams and a substantial offshore development and operations office. We're investing heavily in AI and automation across every part of the business, and that's central to how we plan to scale.
What you'll own
- Driving delivery across business systems and operational projects — tracking priorities, timelines, blockers and actions, and chasing them to closure
- Acting as the connective tissue between business stakeholders, UK teams and our offshore developers, QA and product owners
- Owning project documentation and process so the whole team works from a clear, shared picture
- Running testing and rollout activity, including launches and cutovers
- Spotting inefficiencies and turning them into concrete improvements
- Supporting our AI and automation initiatives hands-on
- Keeping momentum across the portfolio so nothing stalls
What we're looking for
We care far more about how you think than about your CV. You don't need to be a developer. You do need to be genuinely comfortable getting under the hood of systems, data and integrations, and unfazed by technical complexity.
You should be someone who:
- Learns unfamiliar systems fast and goes looking for how things work
- Takes ownership and moves things forward without waiting to be told
- Brings structure and calm to fast-moving, ambiguous situations
- Communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical people
- Juggles competing priorities without dropping detail
- Wants real responsibility and is aiming at leadership, not just a job
You'll often be handed problems before they're fully defined — and a big part of the job is bringing order to them.
Useful, but not essential
Any exposure to ecommerce, operations or logistics, project coordination, business systems (Business Central, Magento or similar), or AI and automation tools is a bonus — not a requirement.
What success looks like in 12 months
- You've meaningfully reduced delivery bottlenecks across our systems work
- Coordination and visibility across projects have visibly improved
- You have a strong working knowledge of how our systems and operations fit together, and you're a go-to person for keeping them joined up
- You're a trusted point of contact across UK and offshore teams
- You've grown into more responsibility, with a clear route to keep going
Why join
You'll work directly with senior leadership at the intersection of technology, operations, ecommerce and AI, with exposure to large-scale initiatives and a genuine path to grow. If you like making things work better and want to build a career doing it, this is a rare seat to do it from.
